Broadly, the law declares wild horses and burros to be “living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West” and stipulates that the BLM and the U.S.

She came to graduate school after fifteen years in sustainable agriculture and food systems, including two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador, a country and community she has continued to return to and work with ever since. That life before art runs through everything she makes.

Birding at The Brinton

The Quarter Circle A Ranch has long been home to many of our fine feathered friends. Bradford Brinton was an avid collector of books about birds (including the octavo set by John James Audubon and Rex Brasher’s limited-edition folios) and nature art, most of which can be found in the Library of the Historic Ranch House at The Brinton Museum. This monthly activity is a joint effort between The Brinton Museum and the Bighorn Audubon Society that began over 9 years ago. 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Free – All levels welcome!
